Emily Healy

Senior Design Consultant

Emily graduated from the New England School of Art and Design in Boston, MA with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design.  Emily has over 6 years of interior design and project management experience working on projects in varying scales from residential kitchen and bathroom remodels, to full gut renovations, retail stores, and custom homes. 

After beginning her early career in California, Emily has found her home here in Chicago. Although Emily has worked on a wide range of projects in her field, she has found her specialty to be residential remodels and custom homes, where she enjoys collaborating with her clients, building client relationships, and translating their dreams into reality.

Emily’s responsibilities at Foster Design Build include supervising assistant designers and coordinating with project managers in the execution of all interior design and space planning, as well as working closely with the clients to ensure client satisfaction and implementation of design decisions. 

Some of Emily’s most notable projects include:

  • Finish and fixture selection as well as furniture selection for the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Boston, MA
  • Renovation of nursery, library/media room, bathroom and entry in the original Playboy mansion in Chicago, IL
  • Supervised and successfully completed remodel reset of 700 Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. stores

Emily grew up on the East coast in Rhode Island and currently resides in Wicker Park, Chicago, IL with her husband. Aside from Interior Design, Emily has a passion for drawing, yoga, and traveling the world.
